Fascia is a thin layer of connective tissue that covers and supports the muscles and inner organs of the body. Freeing the fixations in the fascia can give remarkable results in many problem areas including: shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles, and lung congestion.

The VP-2 percussor’s action allows the doctor to work with the fascia of the body at a very deep, penetrating level that has long lasting results. Many chronic pain problems are caused by fascial restriction and scar tissue. The smooth force of the percussor is not painful yet allows the freeing of both superficial connective tissue and the deep fascia. The doctor’s free hand is the monitoring hand. The unwinding fascia is restricted with the monitoring hand until there is a deep fascial release.

Fascial connective tissue is continuous and all-inclusive. Fascia carries an electrical charge and is in constant communication with the nervous system throughout the entire body.
